Hello parents, hope you had a good week! 

Some updates and reminders:

• Tuesday 10/10 at 6pm - City Council Meeting. 810 Union Street. Matt will be speaking and thanking the city for sharing pool space and our longstanding partnership. We will also be asking for more pool space as our team clearly needs it. Please attend if you can so we can show leadership how much we've grown and that we appreciate all they do for us!
  • We will still hold practice at Southside if you prefer. 
• Today is the last day to order shirts/hoodies for the season! Go to our Team Store and don't miss out!
• Photo day is 10/30 at 6pm; please prioritize attending this night so we can have a large team photo (even if you don't plan to buy individual/sibling photos). Go here to order (enter code NSDSWIM23)
  • Team Halloween Trunk or Treat will follow at 7pm. More details to come.
• USA Swimming
  • We will be activating the USA NSD club this week. Be on the lookout for an email with the details to register. (Note: you as a parent do not need to pay for yourself; you only need to pay the fee for your swimmer(s).)
  • If you plan to compete at the 11/10-11/12 USA Meet in Hampton, we will have a very quick turnaround and ask that you prioritize registering so we can slot you in for some Time Trials during practice the week of 10/23 in order to get you into this meet! We must have all entries (and seed times) submitted by 10/30. 
  • We have updated/added several pages to our USA Swimming section of the website. Please check them out. 
  • We thank you in advance for your patience. USA Swimming is new to nearly all of us on the Board so we're learning as best and fast as we can. We will make mistakes but I promise you we are committed to seeing this aspect of our team succeed. 
• Volunteers Needed! We are still looking for parents to help with event planning and to join our board. We are 100% volunteer run (except our amazing coaches) to keep costs low. Please consider helping out with event planning and oversight and joining our board. Email us at [email protected] if you're interested.
