Good morning! 

Some updates:

• We are now a USA Seasonal Swim Club! Go here to learn how to register your swimmer.

  • 

  • The Hampton Sharks were unable to secure their contract with the Hampton Aquaplax so they will not be having a season. Your only opportunity to compete outside of intrasquad meets this season will be through USA swimming competitions.
  • The Carl Warner CGBD swim meet from 11/10-11/12 has relaxed entry requirements and will allow all times to compete. This means your swimmer will not need a BB time or better in order to compete. This is a great opportunity for swimmers 9 and older to compete and get official seed times for future USA competitions.
  • If you intend for your swimmer to compete at the Carl Warner meet, you must register them with our USA club by Friday 10/20. We will be holding time trials during practice the week of 10/23 only for USA swimmers needing seed times for events at the Carl Warner meet. We must submit entries and seed times to CGBD by 10/30.
• Matt and Coach Maurice promoted the team at the 10/10 City Council meeting (check our FB and IG pages for the post). Thank you to all the families who came to show their support! It was nice to see the Mayor's reaction when the majority of those in attendance stood up to identify themselves as NSD families. We are continuing to work behind the scenes with our city partners to secure more pool space for our growing team. Thank you for your patience!

• All shirt and hoodie merchandise has been ordered and should be available for pick up by the 11/4 intrasquad meet. Limited extras were ordered and quantities available will be updated on the team store soon if you missed the cutoff.
