--Week 19 Updates & Reminders --

REMINDER ODU MEET Saturday, January 20th at 12:00 Noon 

Please try and join us to watch the ODU Monarchs swim team compete against George Mason University. The ODU swimmers are so excited to have us come cheer them on and they have all sorts of fun things planned for the kids. Come early to participate in a spin-to-win wheel game, and there will be autographs and a meet/greet with the ODU team. Admission is free and the pool is located inside the University Fitness Center at 1510 W 48th St. Norfolk, VA 23508. Parking is free in lot 43 located at the intersection of 43rd st. and Powhatan. I will attach a list (pdf attached) of ODU swimmers that have been working with our NSD kids this season. It would be amazing if the kids would create a poster cheering them on to bring with them to the meet.

REGISTRATION for NSD team open for the remainder of the season. 

If you know of anyone on the wait-list who was interested in joining and couldn't in the fall, tell them to check their email for an invitation to join us! Coaches can conduct tryouts to see which level to place a swimmer in during practice with notice.

REMINDER: 

If you joined us last January and purchased your Norfolk Parks & Rec membership please check in with a pool staff member at either pool to see if it's time to renew. They need to be renewed annually.
