Happy Friday!  

Registration is open for our first intrasquad meet that is NEXT SATURDAY!  Please declare your swimmer here.  If this is your very first meet, have no fear!  It's a fairly simple process and there will be a lot of seasoned parents there to lend a hand.  At the top of that page is a link for "meet signup instructions" that can walk you through declaring your swimmer as well as other helpful info in the links at the top of the page.  Even our newest swimmers are encouraged to attend!  It will be a fun day for the kids.  

Jon will lead a First Meet Info Meeting on Monday 9/16 and again on Friday 9/20 during practice (6pm ish).   

Volunteers are essential for smooth meets.  We expect all of our families to volunteer throughout the season,  so please ensure you sign up for a job!  On that note, the board is actively recruiting for a new treasurer, as well as an events director and committee.  If this would be a good role for you, please reach out the board.  Many hands make light work!  Last year we had a wonderful halloween event that would be so wonderful to do again, but we can't do it alone.

Lastly, the board is going to extend the payment deadline to next Friday, 9/20.  If you have a check already, I will be at practice this evening at Huntersville and at Monday and Tuesday practice as well next week.  Otherwise, next week is fine to hand to any board member.
