Happy almost the weekend swim families!  Just a note to say that I have been working on our attendance log the past few days and pat yourselves on the back, because I am proud to say that we have had amazing attendance so far!  These kids are working hard, and I know that when I get a chance to sit in on practice, I can already see the improvements in their form, endurance, and speed.  Remember, our least attended pool is Huntersville and we practice there twice weekly.  If your kiddo is interested in a slightly smaller group at practice, try to come on those evenings!

Coaches Notes

• please pack water bottles for practice.  And encourage the children to hydrate throughout the day.  It will help them so much without them even realizing.  
• equipment: kids should have goggles, a cap, water bottle, and fins (starting in the next week or so) with them daily.  If you need help figuring out fins, reach out to myself or a coach and they can help you figure out sizing. Also, if anyone has fins that their child has outgrown and would like to share them, bring them to practice and I can stick them in my car and bring to practices.  
• please try to arrive early enough for practice for the kids to do their warmup stretches.  
• please continue to adhere to the pool rules at all times.  we are representing our team while at practice as well as before and after.  children are never allowed in the pool alone under 8 years old without an adult, but while we practice ALL CHILDREN MUST HAVE A PARENT IN THE WATER with them.  The swim at that time is called "Family Swim" and requires a parent to be actively in the water with their child.  I'll link the pool rules below.
