Greetings, NSD Parents.

We are just a few days away from the first Norfolk Silver Dolphins Intrasquad Swim Meet, and I wanted to pass along huge thanks, a few reminders, and one request.

Thank you, thank you to all those who have signed up for Swim Meet jobs for this coming Saturday.  Your enthusiasm, initiative, and willingness to serve is greatly appreciated!  

Reminders:

• Swimmer declarations are due tonight by 11pm.  If you are having technical difficulties with declaring your swimmer in SwimTopia, please email, text, or call Amber at 586-229-9610 or [email protected].
• It is nearly impossible to add a swimmer to a Swim Meet the morning of, so if you are unsure if your swimmer will be attending, just go ahead and declare them in the Swim Meet.  We can easily remove them on Saturday morning if they do not show.  There is no penalty for being a no-show in the Intrasquad Swim Meets.  
• We still have several critical Swim Meet volunteer jobs left vacant/unfilled. 
• As a friendly reminder, concession signups of snacks or drinks DO NOT fulfill volunteer time.

Request: I am reaching out to ask that if you are not currently filling a Swim Meet job, would you please consider going into SwimTopia and signup for one of these positions listed below? 

If you are having technical difficulties with signing up, please email, text, or call me at 503-440-0277 with your name and job you are willing to fill.

• Clerk of the Course: Need 3 additional volunteers
• Shepherd/Zookeeper: Need 1 more volunteer
• Timers 1^st Half: Need 4 volunteers
• Timers 2^nd Half: Need 9 volunteers
